Wedding-Day Weather

sunny and beautiful!

Number of Guests

The theme was Southern Charm. The colors were pink and navy, and the men wore seersucker suits. We wanted our guests to feel comfortable and at home throughout the day, from the ceremony to the lunch of fried chicken and barbecue.

The bouquets were made of roses, daisies, and hydrangeas. Mason jars filled with daisies and baby's breath decorated the reception.

Favorite Detail

Being surrounded by family and friends made our day extra special.

Mert's Heart and Soul catered the wedding. The menu was fried chicken, barbecue, mashed potatoes, green beans, cole slaw, macaroni and cheese, and cornbread. There was also a fruit and cheese display.

The cake was made by Carolina Sweet Endings. The cake was chocolate-chocolate chip with layers of chocolate ganache and vanilla buttercream icing.

Vendor Shout-Out

Thanks to Greg Dodson, our awesome photographer/videographer!

If You Knew Then What You Know Now...

Don't arrange your own reception centerpieces! Too much stress on the day before your wedding!

The Day in Three Words

Traditional, Southern, Elegant

We honeymooned at the Rockworks villa in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. It was perfect!
